October or 'ROCKTOBER' as it has become known in music circles, is the month that the music fraternity around the world celebrates ROCK MUSIC. Popular radio stations, like 5fm, TUKSfm etc. play ROCK throughout the whole of ROCKTOBER. Moonshine Productions has decided to join these celebrations by hosting its own ROCKTOBER FEST featuring four of the hottest rock outfits on the current local circuit. All four these outfits play solid hardcore ROCK MUSIC and are amongst the favourites with the country's local rock supporters.
The incredible line-up for 'ROCKTOBER FEST 2007' will be Pretoria's new hard rock gem No Quarter featuring Johnathan Martin & Tertuis du Plessis, Bad Habbits a 'well oiled' Pretoria rock outfit featuring Johan Meiring & Stean van der Walt, the Legendary Piet Botha & Jack Hammer with 'Duke' van de Waal on drums and the incredible Albert Frost Trio featuring Lani van der Walt on bass & Jorik Pienaar on drums.

NO QUARTER
Yet another Pretoria ROCK sensation formed in 'ONE BIG BOOM' Studios in December 2006. Johnathan Martin left the Jack Hammer in December 2005 to pursue a new music direction. After a year of various experiments No Quarter was formed. No Quarter features the very talented Johnathan Martin (lead guitar & vocals), his younger brother Aiden Martin (guitar & vocals), Tertius du Plessis (bass guitar) and Lesley Stuart (drums). www.noquarter.co.za

| Bad Habits |
BAD HABITS
Johan Meiring (lead guitar, vocals) and Andy Stevenson (drums) have been jamming together for the past 15 years and are the founder members of Bad Habits, another Pretoria based outfit! The other members of the band are Wimpy Gouws (bass guitar) and recent addition Stean van der Walt (vocals and harmonica) brought on board to bolster the vocal section. Bad Habits are a solid Blues Rock outfit and are guaranteed to get the 'house a-rockin'!'

JACK HAMMER
Pretoria legends Jack Hammer need no introduction. They have been rocking the rock 'n roll highway in this country for the past 23 years. Spearheaded by the wizard Piet 'The Hammer' Botha (lead guitar, vocals), Paul 'The Duke' Van de Waal (drums), Tertius (Beankovzski) du Plessis (bass guitar) and Johnathan Martin (guitar, vocals) who has recently rejoined the band. www.jackhammer.co.za

ALBERT FROST TRIO
Albert Frost is master guitarist who started playing as a teenager in the 90's with The Blues Broers. "Broer" (pronounced "brew") is Afrikaans for "brother". Albert's late father Frank D. Frost was the original drummer of the Blues Broers, so Albert was both Frank's son and his 'broer'. Frost is a brilliant blues and rock guitarist and an in-demand session musician, and has played alongside many famous South African names including Koos Kombuis, Valiant Swart, Arno Carstens and Anton Goosen.
